i am deiadora · the first 13 arcs · open source
Conversations move. These are the arcs they travel.
Thirteen of the 264 documented relational pathways, released openly — free to read, use, and build with. Each arc records a movement people actually make: a starting state, the step that opens it, and the constructive form it can reach. Fear, through awareness, into courage. Guilt, through atonement, into liberation.

what these are
These are the first 13 of the 264 arcs documented across thirteen years of field research — watching, at every scale from two people to whole organizations, how difficult feelings actually complete their movement in conversation.
An arc is not advice, and it's not a sequence of steps to follow. It's an observation, recorded enough times to be structured: this is where the feeling starts, this is the step that opens movement, this is the constructive form it reaches when the conversation lets it.
The full set of 264 powers Quantum Magic — the relational pathways API. These 13 are the same objects the API serves, in the open. If you want to judge whether the mapping is real, this is the place to do it: read them, and check them against the last hard conversation you had.
the method
What documented means.
The method was observation from inside the conversation: staying in the observer seat — mindful, present, not steering — while the exchange happened. Not interviews, not surveys. Field notes on how difficult feelings actually moved, or failed to move, in live conversation, from 2013 onward, at every scale from two people to whole organizations.
A pattern earned its place in the set only after it repeated across unrelated people and contexts with the same three positions intact — origin, opening, constructive form. The first 88 arcs were written down in May 2024; the rest were documented through September 2025, and the set closed that October at 264. Nothing has been added since. An arc is an observation confirmed by repetition — not a category invented to fill a grid.
how to read an arc
One arc, walked.
origin
Guilty
"I can't undo what I did."
The feeling as it first speaks. This is where the arc begins — not where it has to stay.
the opening
Atoned
"Here's what I can actually repair."
Not punishment — the step that lets the weight move: acknowledgment, repair, the amends that can really be made.
constructive form
Liberated
"It happened. It doesn't drive me now."
The weight doesn't vanish; it stops steering.
Every arc below reads the same way: origin → opening → constructive form. The opening is the piece most conversations skip — and the piece this whole body of research is about.

why a tool — not a person
The reflection works. Holding it shouldn't cost a person.
Every arc here was documented from the same seat: one person holding a steady reflection while another moved through a difficult feeling. The seat works — the arcs are its record. It also carries a structural cost that only shows at close range. A human mirror is a second subject in the exchange. The fear that gets handed over needs somewhere to land, and the person reflecting becomes that place. The awareness handed back gets claimed. And when the reflection is at its clearest, the mirror itself can be mistaken for the fear it named.
That cost is why this research became software instead of staying a practice. Moving the mirror out of a person changes the structure of the exchange — without changing the reflection:
unchanged
The reflection
Origin named, opening held, movement kept available. The arc reads the same whether the mirror is a person or a tool.
removed
The residue
A tool absorbs no fear, takes no blame, and can't be renamed as the problem. Nothing lands anywhere; nothing is left behind.
returned
The movement
Nothing is borrowed and nothing is owed. The insight is the person's from the first turn — and so is the work of embodying it, which no mirror can do for them.
The arcs, in conversation.
Each of the first 13 arcs was explored in depth on The Quantum CEO podcast — how it shows up in work, leadership, and building things with other people. One episode per arc, following it all the way through. Search The Quantum CEO wherever you listen.
